Using Picasa Geotags

Geotagging is a way to digitally tag where you took a photo and add it to a map to share with friends and family. This feature is great for vacations or out of town trips because you can reference them by where you took them, making organizing your photos easier! There are two ways to add a Geotag to you pictures on Picasa:

Select the picture you want to add a Geotag to, click "Places" in the lower right corner of Picasa, select the city where you took the photo, click and move the green marker to the Geotag location and click "OK" to finalize.

or

Find the location on the map first and then drag and drop photos onto the map.
